Rafiki Rental: Equipment Rental Agreement

Welcome to Rafik Rentals. By using our website and renting items from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Equipment Care Standards
By renting, the Customer agrees to the following care guidelines for all items:
- - Throne Chairs & Love Seats: No food, drink, or sharp objects are permitted on or near premium fabrics to prevent staining and tears.
- -Folding Tables & Chairs: While sturdy, these items are for intended use only. Do not stand on tables or use chairs as step stools.
- - Surface Safety: All equipment must be placed on flat, dry, and stable surfaces. Outdoor use is permitted only on level ground to prevent structural strain.
2. Cleaning & Damage Fees
We take pride in providing clean, professional-grade equipment. If items are returned with the
following issues, additional fees will apply:
- - Minor Stains/Cleaning: A cleaning fee will be assessed for any items returned with heavy debris, adhesive tape residue, or spills.
- - Permanent Damage: In the event of burns, tears, deep scratches, or structural breakage, the Customer will be charged the Full Replacement Cost of the item.
- - Late Return: A fee of $75 per day will be charged for items not ready for pickup at the agreed-upon time.
3. JBL Partybox Speaker Policy
- - Noise Ordinances: The Customer assumes all responsibility for noise complaints or local ordinance violations.
- - Weather Protection: The JBL speaker is water-resistant but not waterproof. It must be kept under cover and never left in direct rain or extreme heat.
- - Power: Customer must provide a stable power source if the internal battery is not utilized.
4. Delivery, Access & Tax
- - Clear Path: A minimum 36-inch width path is required for Throne Chairs. Our team is not responsible for moving personal furniture.
- - Stairs: Please notify us in advance of any stairs; an "additional handling" fee may apply.
- - Sales Tax: In accordance with Massachusetts law, a 6.25% sales tax is applied to all tangible property rentals.
5. Liability & Safety Waiver
- - Assumption of Risk: The Customer assumes all responsibility for the equipment once delivered..
- - Release of Liability: Rafiki Rental is not liable for any injuries, property damage, or accidents resulting from the use or misuse of the furniture or electronic equipment.
